Exploring Rhodes

Our pick of the best places to visit.

Exploring Rhodes from your Pefkos Base

Rhodes has some stunning places of interest and if you are staying in Pefkos you're ideally placed to hire a car to see the island.

To appreciate the size of the Island, if you drove from the northern tip of the island which is Mandraki Harbour in Rhodes Old Town, to the very southern tip which is Prassonisi, the distance would be 92 Kilometers which is 57 miles. Even allowing for the traffic in Rhodes Town and the Greek roads, this would take about 1 hour 45 minutes in the car.

Two days of car hire will allow you to spend time at most of the best places, but you can plan your route, hire a car for one day, and visit places reasonably close together, then on your next Pefkos holiday choose a different route.
